GO ISLINGTON

Despite of the heavy rain on the day, we had a great time at "GO Islington" Festival at Highbury Fields on 22nd July. We met amazing people and made lots of friends. Michael Priaulx from Islington Swift Group a part of Swift Conservation Society, was of the wonderful people we met at the festival. He tirelessly raises awareness about the declining population of London swifts and educates people on how to expand their habitat by providing homes for these city dwelling birds. David Bamford, Assistant Parks Manager, who kindly invited us and provided a space for us to have a stall, was very helpful and we are hoping to continue our friendship in the following years.
